We create stationery that not only looks great, has a really cool, scientific benefit to it. Let's explain.
WRITING STUFF DOWN:
Our brains are inundated with information. We all struggle to remember the barrage of information we receive. What’s interesting, and what most people advocate is writing things down. Writing things down appears to help us remember the important stuff, and that the better our notes are the more likely we are to remember. That's why you see so many people writing down their todos in meetings, or those song writing lyrics.
You're with me so far.
Before we write, although indistinguishably so — we are putting some degree of thought into evaluating and ordering the information that we are receiving. We are processing, albiet really quickly, what information we might want to draw upon again in the future.
THE PROCESS OF WRITING:
As we are writing, we create spatial relations between the various bits of information we are recording. Spatial tasks are handled by another part of the brain, and the act of linking the verbal information with the spatial relationship seems to filter out the less relevant or important information. Writing things down, starts to make the brain focus further.
Before we write, although indistinguishably so — we are putting some degree of thought into evaluating and ordering the information that we are receiving.
That process, and not the notes themselves, is what helps fix ideas more firmly in our minds. Although a lot of the problem comes later down the line.
HOW WE HELP YOU RECALL:
We recall pictures more easily than words. We've combined the best of both worlds into our products. Space for your words, and pictures to help you remember.
We make your notes distinguishable by the graphics we've added alongside them. So, if you've decided to write a note in that meeting you're already more likely to remember it, than if you didn't.
Layer onto this the fact that our stationery creates a feeling, or a response from you, you will find you write better quality notes, because you care about the pages you are writing on ( They are just so different to boring lined paper).
Layer on again the other USP about Comme Glom stationery that every page is unique, your brain will start to remember the image that we've designed on the page, which you've written.
And that is the science bit done!
